The quality of the fuel used can have a significant impact on the reliability and the life of the boiler. Off –specification pellets can contaminate stocks of goodmaterial and maybe difficult to dispose of.

 

 

 

The use of contaminated material can lead to breaches of emissions and waste regulations as well as long term damage to the heatingsystem.

 

 

 

The European standards have been developed based on the work of CEN’s TC335 solid biofuels committee.

 

As a minimum the fuel should comply with the following specification acc. to OENORM M 7135 and ENplus Class A1.
